All individuals who wish to park a motor vehicle on campus during restricted hours must display a valid parking decal or permit or park in a metered space and pay the appropriate fee.  Restricted hours are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, unless otherwise indicated. 

A UF parking decal will enable the holder to park a motor vehicle in the parking facilities that specific decal is designated for. The purchase of a parking decal does not guarantee a parking space.

Decal eligibility requirements differ for faculty/staff members and for students. Faculty/staff decal eligibility is based on whether or not the faculty/staff member is Benefits Eligible. Student decal eligibility is based on whether the student lives on or off campus and the number of credit hours earned.

How to Purchase a Parking Decal

Eligible faculty, staff and students may order parking decals online during the decal renewal season.

Parking decals may also be purchased at the Customer Service Office, which is located at the corner of Gale Lemerand Drive and Mowry Road. Office hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

You must present your tag number and UF ID when you purchase your decal.

Decals may be purchased either annually, for the current semester, monthly or weekly.

Faculty/staff decals may be renewed each year beginning April 1.  The decal year begins May 1.

Student decals may be purchased for the academic year (beginning in fall semester). If ordered by August 1, decals will be mailed to recipient.

Eligible faculty and staff members may have the cost of their decals deducted from their pay. Students may charge the price of their decals to their student account. Decals may also be purchased with cash, personal check, ATM/debit card, credit card (Visa or MasterCard).

Returning, Replacing or Exchanging a Decal
    • A parking decal may be returned for a full refund within 15 calendar days of purchase (unless a permit has been issued for more than 15 days prior to the purchase of the decal).
    • Employee decals refunds are prorated based on the current payroll cycle.
    • For employees on payroll deduction, payments made in excess of the amount due will be refunded.
    • No refunds will be issued unless the decal or remains of the decal is returned to Transportation and Parking Services.

    To exchange a parking decal, bring the decal to be exchanged to the Customer Service Office (you must be eligible for the new decal to make the exchange).

    The fee for obtaining a replacement decal is $20.00. Replacement decals may be obtained at the Customer Service Office. Please call 392-2241 if you need more information.

    The fee for replacing a decal may be paid for using cash, check, money order, credit card (Visa or Master Card) or debit card. This fee cannot be payroll deducted or charged to a student account.

Replacing your Vehicle
If you replace your vehicle please call the Customer Service Office at 392-2241 and ask that they update your record. Please have the vehicle's year, make, model and color handy. If the tag number has changed, please have that information as well.

Purchasing an Additional Vehicle
If you already own a valid UF parking decal and have a vehicle registered with Transportation and Parking Services, you may use the parking decal in either of your vehicles.

Just make sure your primary vehicle is listed in our records and that the decal is displayed in whichever vehicle you park on campus. Please call us at 392-2241 if we need to update your record.
