All individuals who wish to park a motor vehicle on campus during restricted hours must display a valid parking decal or permit, or park in a metered space or paid parking facility and pay the appropriate fee.
Decal restricted hours are 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, unless otherwise indicated by signage. Decal restrictions are not in effect on weekends and University holidays.
The purchase of a parking decal does not guarantee a parking space.

How To Purchase A Parking DecalDURING THE DECAL RENEWAL SEASON:
Eligible students must order parking decals online. Decals will not be available for purchase at the customer relations office.
If your order is received late in the decal renewal season, you may be given the opportunity to print a temporary permit for immediate use.
Decal charges will be deferred to your student account.

Returning, Replacing Or Exchanging A Parking DecalReturns
A parking decal may be returned for a full refund within 15 calendar days from purchase (unless a permit has been issued for more than 15 days prior to the purchase of the decal). However, no refunds will be issued unless the decal (or remains of the decal) is returned to the TAPS Customer Relations Office.
Replacements And Exchanges
You must come to the TAPS Customer Relations Office to report a lost or stolen decal before you may purchase a replacement.
The fee for obtaining a replacement decal is $25.00, and may be paid using cash, check, money order, or credit/debit card. This fee cannot be charged to a student account.
To exchange a parking decal, bring the decal to be exchanged to the TAPS Customer Relations Office. You must be eligible for the new decal in order to make the exchange.

Changing Your VehicleIf you begin driving a new vehicle, please call the TAPS Customer Relations Office at (352) 392-7275 and ask that your account be updated with your new vehicle information. We will need to know the year, make, model, color and tag number of the new vehicle.
If you already own a valid UF parking decal and have a primary vehicle registered with Transportation and Parking Services, you may use your decal to drive another vehicle temporarily (such as a rental car) without updating your account. However, your decal CANNOT BE USED in a vehicle which is already registered or affiliated to another current University of Florida or Shands student, faculty or staff member.
