Gotcha Ride
Gotcha Ride is an eco-friendly, 100% battery powered transportation service that provides free rides for students and faculty. Gotcha Ride currently has five specially-designed vehicles currently operating on the University of Florida campus, each of which can safely accommodate up to 5 passengers.
The service runs Thursday - Saturday from 8:00 PM - 3:00 AM, providing transportation throughout the University of Florida campus and to nearby surrounding areas. Daytime transportation is also provided free of charge for patients and visitors at Shands Hospital Monday – Friday from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Rides are always free, and tips are appreciated.

UF Carpool Program
The Carpool Program encourages eligible University of Florida and Shands faculty and staff members to share the ride to and from campus.
Carpool groups consist of two registered members (additional riders are welcome and strongly encouraged, but only two will be registered members in each group). Both registered members must be full time, benefits-eligible UF or Shands employees. Both are required to work compatible day-shift schedules on the main campus and live along a reasonable commuting path.

Gator Lift provides fast, dependable and comfortable on campus transportation to members of the UF community with permanent and temporary disabilities.

Campus Cab
Campus Cab taxi service provides free point-to-point transportation for University of Florida Faculty and Staff on the Main Campus, East Campus, and some UF facilities in Alachua County (Shands, UAA, PK Yonge, and several other auxiliaries are not participants in this program).
Taxi service is intended for official University business only.

Motorcycles and Scooters
A valid UF motorcycle decal is required to park a motorcycle or scooter on campus, and all members of the UF community are eligible to purchase these decals. All individuals operating a motorcycle or scooter on campus must abide by UF parking rules and regulations and park in a Motorcycle/Scooter parking area.

Regional Transit System
UF students, faculty and staff may ride RTS public transportation fare-free by presenting their Gator 1 card. RTS offers multiple bus routes on campus with service to every area of the University, as well as routes to all points of the City of Gainesville. Additionally, Transportation and Parking Services offers daily and weekly parking decal options to allow our customers flexibility for days when bringing a vehicle to campus is absolutely necessary.

Zimride Ridesharing
UF Zimride is a fun and easy way to share the seats in your car or catch a ride. With Zimride, you can find UF friends, classmates, and coworkers going the same way you are.
UF Zimride is available to all students, faculty and staff members and requires a GatorLink username and password. Have a car? Need a ride? UF Zimride helps you offer or request rides for commutes, road trips, and popular events. If you have a car, split costs by offering rides. If you don't have a car, find rides where you need to go.

SNAP
The Student Nighttime Auxiliary Patrol (SNAP) was implemented in 1976 to provide safe, nighttime transportation on the University of Florida campus. The "buddy system" has long been recognized as a means of enhancing personal safety and security. SNAP provides an on-call "buddy" ready to escort university students, staff and visitors.
